Easier to Update Your Express Entry Profile
Effective Date: March 17, 2025
What’s New:
If your Express Entry profile is about to expire, and you haven’t received a decision from AAIP yet, you can now update your profile without losing your spot.
Why It Matters:
Before this change, an expired profile could mean starting over. Now, if your profile was submitted on or after September 30, 2024, you can keep your application active by refreshing it in the system.

This change applies to Alberta Express Entry Stream applicants whose profiles are nearing expiration.

Family Connection and Occupation in Demand Pathway Ends
